Have you provided the proper tokens as required?
Did you see a text indicating that it is conencted to your Twitter account under the Authentication section?

To make this plugin work, you will need to create a new Twitter application.

To create a new Twitter application, just follow these steps:
- Create a new Twitter application via this page
- If you're not logged in, you can use your Twitter username and password
- Some details you need to know when filling the form:
  + Application Name: Just give a name.
  + Callback URL: http://www.auntlali.com
  + Fill in the remaining details as you wish
  + Submit
- When your application is successfully created, you will see your application's detail page
  + Click Settings tab, change the Access to Read & Write.
