Since updating the plugin to this version, it won't update the tweets, I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it won't show up at all. Not with the shortcode or PHP code either. Please advise on how to make it show up!

Have you created a Twitter App?
Check the config page
If yes, on the profile configuration (authentication section), make sure you have entered the 4 secret keys and tokens correctly.
There are many users that failed to do this because they entered extra "space" character.
If you do this correctly, on the profile configuration (authentication section), you will see something like:
You are currently connected as ....

Yes, already did that and inserted all the information... tried refreshing browser history, cleared cache, cleared twitter cache, hit 'get new tweets', etc. nothing...

I'm having the same issue, after clearing cache, deleting tweets, and getting new tweets. The widget doesn't display at all.
