Is there a way to edit -- shorten, remove hashtags, etc. -- the content of tweets displayed in the widget?  That would be great...

While I'd love to have this general capability, I'm also interested in not showing hashtag words in the widget - a feature that could be programmed in the settings. (I don't mean unlink the hashtags; rather, have them altogether disappear.)  This would shorten the text of tweets displayed in the widget.
