Hi,

I was using my own data file as per instructions you had given me long ago. I appreciate the hard work you have put in for so many beautiful quotes in the collection. However, my purpose and needs are very specific and I wish to use my own collection. I have the .php file that I use. How do I do that in the new version.  ;D

🙂

Figured it out.

Guys, your design is brilliant. I did not have to kill myself trying to do extra ordinary thing. I uploaded the file to /col folder. Named the file properly observing how all other files were named. One last thing, I just changed $db to $col in the data file.

Voila! It is done.

Your design is amazingly simple and powerful to implement. Great.

Actually, as of v 1.4.8, you can put your own quotes via WP Admin -> Xhanch -> My Quote.
Just list down your quotes as the custom quotes (one quote per line).

With this, the plugin users won't need to deal with PHP codes anymore 🙂
That's why I remove the old way to include your own quotes.

Dear Susanto,

Thank you for your reply.

I know and I saw that new feature. Very nice. However my problem is I have more than 100 quotes at the moment and I keep adding new ones to it. As you know control panel interface of Wordpress is not particularly friendly and if I were to copy paste 100 lines, I would go crazy.

Well, as I mentioned in my second post, it has worked well that way.

Thank you once again for your great plugin, great support and ... just brilliant piece of code that is so simple to understand.
