Seems that even when I unclick the "inc. reweet" with the twitter settings, it still shows my client's retweets:
www.thenewburyportfarmersmarket.org (username: farmista).
Just downloaded latest version: 2.5.8
am using wp 3.1
and atahaulpa BFA theme.

Update:
As of version 2.6.3, these retweets can be hidden. Simply exclude the keyword "RT @" on the configuration page. You should find Don't show tweets that contain these words option on the configuration page. With this, all tweets than contain "RT @" will not be displayed.

Well, none of your status are retweets.
Even you have "RT @someone" keyword on some statuses, they are not retweets at all.
You can compare these

Here is one of their status which is a proper retweet
If you see some of wordpress statuses which are proper retweets, you can see this icon before the status text
And, below the retweet status, you can find this text
"Retweeted by wordpress and 12 others"

Thank you. I've visited twitter, not getting it - so may I ask, what's the difference between "RT" and the recycle retweet symbol?

The point is that your statuses which are started with "RT" are not "retweet". Those are just ordinary text statuses.
All retweets will have the "retweet" symbol on it.

So Xhanch only consider a retweet those made using Twitter website...? In this case, all users that use Hootsuite, TweetDeck (or any similar software) won't have their RTs displayed by Xhanch plugin... :-/

May I know your exact problem? Whether it is:
- Cannot show retweets
- Cannot hide the retweets
If I'm not mistaken, your issue is that your retweets are not displayed (based on this sentence all users that use Hootsuite, TweetDeck (or any similar software) won't have their RTs displayed by Xhanch plugin).
This issue won't happen since the retweets made from third parties should be considered as ordinary tweets so these retweets will be displayed for sure.
The above case (from another user) is different since he can't hide the retweets because the retweets made via third parties are not proper retweets. But, as of version 2.6.3, these retweets can be hidden. Simply exclude the keyword "RT @" on the configuration page.
