The number of "latest tweets" tweets does not always correspond to the setting in wp-admin. Typically it seems to sometimes be 1 less then specified (if set to 2, will sometimes drop to 1. If it has dropped to 1, and we change latest tweets to 3, then switches to 2).
Notes:
- Have reviewed HTML source code from browser to make sure tweet isn't hidden from CSS
- Settings related to what tweets to included:
INC. REPLIES TO YOU? not checked
INC. REPLIES FROM YOU? not checked
INC. RETWEET? checked
SHOW ORIGIN RETWEET? not checked
My theory is that while Replies are not shown, that replies are still incrementing the # of latest tweets counter. (or at least in some circumstances falsely incrementing 1)

Update:
This issue won't happen anymore as of v 2.5.9 due to our new mechanism in displaying the tweets.

Well, this is very possible since Inc. replies from you is not checked/ticked.
FYI, Twitter API does not provide such parameters when in retrieving your tweets, so what we do is simply retrieve more tweets and get rid some of them which are your replies to other members.

The plugin started not to show the number of tweets it was set to display. This may have to do with a recent installation of W3 Total Cache.
To simplify the many caching activities, I disabled the Xhanch cache and changed the number of tweets (from 6 to 8 ); but it didn't make a difference: it's still showing 1-3 tweets, depending on when one looks.
It also didn't change when the page cache of the W3 Total Cache plugin was emptied.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, the number of latest tweets displayed in my installation is totally random, currently set to 10 but displaying 7. I set it to 15 I see 8, refreshing throughout the day will produce a different number of tweets without amending the #Latest Tweets. www.lawtechfutures.com 🙁
