Hi,
I've just installed the My Twitter plugin (WordPress 3.1.1, version 2.6.3 of the plugin). While testing under IE, I found that in IE8 mode, the scrolling feature does not work.
(and some testing later...)
It appears that the Lightbox 2 plugin ( http://www.stimuli.ca/lightbox/ ) is not compatible with the My Twitter plugin. Since that Lightbox plugin is discontinued, I have disabled it. Everything works fine now.
So, no, not a real bug anymore, but I thought I'd share with you and others.

Thanks for sharing your experience.
Strangely, this does not happen on my IE8.
I just test the same case (have lightbox 2 plugin installed and activated) in IE 8 (Windows 7) and everything works fine.
Both non-animated scrolling and animated scrolling (auto scroll) are working just fine.
