WP Manga - 1.2.3 is released. This is a major update.

After a full month of extensive development of WP Manga. We managed to include so much improvements to the previous WP Manga 1.2.2. WP Manga - 1.2.3 is now available with a much faster and better script performance, more search engines friendly, new components, new features, and new layouts.

What are the improvements in this version:

• Improved,optimized, and cleaned-up scripts for a much better script performance. Most of this script has been recoded.
• Reduced SQL queries (over 50%). Most of the SQL queries have been reduced and optimized
• Merged,optimized, and cleaned-up JavaScript files and CSS files for a much better page load
• Even more improved SEO
• Applied new naming standardization to database tables' names, database fields' name, and script
• 100% translatable. WP Manga are now fully translatable with language pack.
• Custom meta description and meta keywords for every manga and every chapter to have a more search engine friendly pages
• Flexible and customizeable. meta description and page title format. WP Manga 1.2.3 has provided a way to allow you to format how your meta description and page title should display. You can easily do it via the new configuration page
• Implemented proper canonical URL
• Enhanced rating system. Implemented new rating component to provide a more professional, stable, and theme friendly rating system.
• Manga tags. You can define tags for the mangas for better navigation for your visitors
• New manga chapter status "Coming Soon". Chapters with this status will be accessible by visitors though they will find no contents yet. This is to get your incoming chapters got indexed by search engines in advance. For those who have scrapper module, the coming soon chapters will be updated automatically once the chapter's contents are available.
• Enhanced page: Manga Latest Chapter. New list format. Implemented a more theme friendly HTML and CSS codes.
• Enhanced page: Manga List. More search engine friendly URL (for listing per category, per tag, by a starting character, or by search keyword). Implemented a more theme friendly HTML and CSS codes.

• Enhanced page: Manga Detail. New list format. Implemented pagings system for mangas with lots of chapters. Implemented a more theme friendly HTML and CSS codes.
• Enhanced page: Manga Search. Allow searching by tags.
• All widgets provided by WP Manga are now multi instance widget. So you can drag or assign a widget to multiple sidebars with different configurations.
• New widget: Manga Index. On the previous version, this widget is known as Manga Browser and Manga Browser (AJAX) which have been merged and improved. With this widget, ou can find mangas by alphabets, categories, or tags. You can enable the AJAX mode via the widget option.
• Enhanced widget: Manga Search. A new auto suggest component has been implemented to provide a much more professional manga search. the drop down will display a thumbnail with the manga name and the author of the manga. Your visitor can also click the thumbnail or the manga name/title to get to the manga detail page
• Enhanced widget: Manga Latest Chapter.
• Enhanced widget: Manga Popular.
• Enhanced widget: Manga Of The Week. Implemented a more theme friendly HTML and CSS codes. Tags list are also displayed under the categories list.
• Customizable RSS layout. There is also a setting to determine the number of displayed chapters.
• Enhanced admin page: Manga. New fields are added for SEO issue and the submission form has been rearranged professionally. You can also set a manga as Manga of the week here
• Enhanced admin page: Manga Chapter. You will find a new way to submit chapter for your mangas. With this new system, you will get a much more easier and faster chapters submission. Other than that, new fields are added for SEO issue and the submission form has been rearranged professionally
• New admin page: Manga Tag. You will be able to manga your tags with this manager
• New admin page: Configuration. With this configuration center, you can easily configure your manga website (ex: modify upload settings, enable the resizer feature, choose a WP manga theme, change WP manga language, page title and meta description formatting, access controls, page setup and so on). You can also configure the configurations for WP Manga modules (if you have any) here.
• Renamed shortcodes. Your old shortcodes will be automatically replaced with a new one.
