WP Tips – Paginating or Split WordPress Post or Page Content Into Several Pages

It’s a personal experience of me to have a long post or page content and suddenly I thought about WordPress ability to split or paginating that long post or page into several pages easily. And I found out that WordPress provide that functionality.

There is a hidden tag <–nextpage–> which will allow to to split the content into several pages as you wish. That tag, <–nextpage–>, can be said as page break tag.

WP Tips – Complete WordPress Ping List

WordPress support pinging to Update Services to let other people know you’ve updated your blog.  WordPress will automatically notifies Update Services that you’ve updated your blog by sending a XML-RPC ping each time you create or update a post. In turn, Update Services process the ping and updates their proprietary indices with your update. Now people browsing sites like Technorati or Sphere can find your most recent posts!

WordPress automatically notifies the specified update services in “Settings” ->”Writing” on “Update Services” section.
